Election for KHHA Board of Directors

- The election for the KHHA Board of Directors is
nearing. The ballots are to go out to the KHHA
members February 1st.
As in years past, a ballot will be sent to each member
to vote for the person of choice to represent harness
racing in Kentucky.
- Your vote counts, only if you send in your ballot. If
your not a KHHA member, join now so you can cast
your vote. Visit www.khha.net for information on
joining the KHHA.
The incumbents running are: Bob Stewart, Steve
Stewart, Steve Stanley, Randy Jerrell, and Jack Gray.
New candidates that have put their name on the
ballot are: Ken Terpenning, Aaron Young, Joe Jayne,
Jim Goble, and Terry Cullipher.
According to Bill Napier, Executive Secretary of the
KHHA, the two candidates, Terry Cullipher and Jim
Goble, requests have be turned over to two
attorneys hired by the KHHA. Cullipher and Goble
sent their requests by email of which created some
concern by Bill Napier, to say the least.
- Two years ago, their wasn't a problem when Shawn
Gannon submitted his request by email. Did the
KHHA hire attorneys to look into it then? The answer
is no. Why wasn't attorneys hired then? Napier said
that wasn't an election because there was a seat
open and nobody else was running.
