Connecting The Dots Segment

Tastes Great. Less Filling. Regular. Decaff. 7ft. 20ft. Since
the beginning of time there have been debates for so many
of these choices. But what's the 7ft/ 20ft debate you ask?
Well, the McCracken County Fair at Carson Park had such a
    debate.

For what reason were the last turn pylons positioned right
down on the ditch, when all the years past they lay out at
least 5 feet from the ditch? How can this be done?

With the Kentucky Horse Racing Authority involved,
questions began to be asked. After the KHRA began to ask,
    the MEASURING GAMES began.

They measured two different ways. One with a measuring
wheel and the other with a hundred feet tape measure.
After hearing Alfred Moore say, "Before we started with
the tape measure, Scottie said to me, "You can make this
tape read whatever you want it to". With that statement,
how do you really know what the real length is. So, since
we saw Alfred Moore with a can of spray paint, measuring
3 feet out from each pylon, and rolling a measuring wheel
around the track, I asked Alfred Moore, former harness
trainer/driver what he measured the 1/2 mile track at. His
response was  20 ft short PER 1/2.. WHAT???? That's over
    40ft for the mile.

Now, Scottie Harris, whom by the way has a filly named
Real Model that he is trying desperately to Sell after the
race at Carson Park, said to Mr. Cullipher, and I quote, "We
will have the track surveyed and if the track is wrong I will
pay for it, but if it was correct distance, than you will have
to pay for it" ..Wait a second here, IS IT TERRY'S JOB TO PAY
FOR IT? And he wasn't questioning the track itself, THE
QUESTION IS WHERE MR. HARRIS AND TRACKMAN
PLACED THE PYLONS. That in itself made the track
distance shorter. If the pylons were put in the same place
as they have for the past 10 years, then the distance
would be right. Anyway, surely there is plenty of money in
the KHHA/Colt Assoc. account to pay for the correct
Measurement. Might I add, Mr. Harris says this right after
he admitted to moving the pylons in to get rid of the
HAIRPIN TURN. Mr. Harris, c'mon now...this is the first
anyone has heard of a HAIRPIN TURN at this track. Is this
another way to COVER UP? It is consider to be one of the
top two county fair tracks in the state.

After calls to the KHRA, and the USTA, we apparently
caused an uproar with Ky Colt Association Rep Nate Sholar.
He warned (maybe threaten) Driver/Trainer Terry Cullipher
for the comments made on Trackside. Or was it really for
"Questioning" the Length of the track? He did this in front
of Terry's nine year old daughter!!! Nate's EXACT WORDS
were "If you use my name, you better make G.D. sure you
got your story straight. Or you'll have to deal with me." This
kind of talk just for questioning the Track Length? OR IS IT
THE SUGGESTION OF AN AUDIT ON THE COMMENT POST, Mr.
Sholar? I understand you needed an audience, but why in
front of a mans nine year old daughter, (and I must
mention that she had two friends with her that were
eight and twelve years old). I'm know she asked her dad
questions about you as they walked away. Another brilliant
moment. Unbelievable!! is all I have say.

I mean, I have a list of what the starter, announcer,
timekeeper, photo finish,  judge, charter, assistant charter
(like we need 2) and the winner's circle photographer
(Nate's Daughter)...I WILL POST THIS NEXT WEEK, Not
just what they make, but what their replacements make
when they are away. Maybe YOU can see IF there are any
    nepotistic favors happening here.

As for the distance of the track, the KHHA reps along with
the Cornbread Mob have been heard saying that the
distance doesn't matter, we all travel the same. Well guys..
the last time I read a program it said "distance 1 mile" not
1 mile give or take. What about the betting public. But do
you think for one milli second these guys are concern about
the public....absolutely not....they avoid the public as much
as possible. If as a gambler, you are betting a horse that
goes in 59 at a county fair track, in against horses that go
58 on a mile track, you would bet them, right? How about if
the track was 40+ Feet shorter..Should the program have
an Astrix * like they are going to do to Barry Bonds...

I trained my colt on Wednesday when they first put the
pylons out 5ft out like in years past, and then again on
Sunday when the track was shorter. I now own the TRACK
RECORD with the New Distance with my 2 yr old. Maybe
that is what Harris and Co. are trying to do!!!  Let me put it
in terms that The Cornbread Mob can understand, it's like
this, When you hear women say its not the size that
matters, just tell them REALLY HONEY, IT IS 7.......

So when we were ALL sitting through the LONG DROWN-
OUT WINDED Lecture,( from Joe "I gotta wear shades"
Costa and President of the KHHA Bob "Yes if you like it and
no if you don't like it, either way "I WIN" Stewart ), about
electing  Beshear because he likes slots and he will help KY
racing. President Bob and Costa both said they would like
to thank Scottie Harris.  For ALL of his Support with the
pushing of Beshear in his area. "The Fence Master" Loves
Beshear and cant wait to have him in the Governor's spot.
That is why he was really supporting Lunsford. How much
money did they throw into Beshear before the primary. Joe
"I gotta wear shades" Costa is the only one here that did
    his homework. Not Harris.

Kyharnessracing.com also talked to the Sheehans about
Beshear and to make a comment about him. Their response
was that "what if he doesnt beat Ernie Fletcher, we don't
want to anger anyone." Your TYPICAL KHHA Reps...So
anyway, as I passed Scottie's barn I ask you, are you
Really supporting Breshear (he still has his Lunsford sign
up) or is the KHHA just giving you FAKE PROPS, so we as
horsemen, would forget the F bomb that was said and
KHHA didn't do anything about it. So the KHHA is HONEST
with us all......RIGHT? Surely they would have done some
research before really pushing Harris, RIGHT? STEWART
took the time in his long speech to talk about Harris and all
the good he has done with Beshear. So are we to believe
Stewart spent $10,000 of his own money to Beshear's
Campaign?? ARE WE GETTING A LIST OF WHO DONATED
AND HOW MUCH??? Yes we are.

Now as for my replacement for Announcer at the Fair, it was
none other than JUDGE and KY COLT ASSOC. REP KEVIN
MACK. Can you do that? How can he see whats happening
in mid pack when you are calling a very tight race call in the
stretch? I know you are good Kevin, but that is asking A
LOT, no matter who you are..So are you getting paid
double time Kevin? And if someone files an objection, what
happens if you don't see it? Maybe one of the other 7
people that are in that small box with you, can tell you
what call to make?  What would the USTA say to this? I'll
call them and let you know later...Oh, and drivers, you'll
be OK if horses get tangled up in a race, Kevin  Mack is also
    the ambulance guy...Whata GUY!

I would like to congratulate Cassity Melloy for her 1st
lifetime win at the Illinois Fair. She is the daughter of
trainer/driver Pat Melloy Jr. of Illinois. Melloy races primarily
at all 3 KY tracks. And would someone please tell Larry Finn
that Jiminee Jack is ALL DONE..Why would you take a
13 yr old horse that hasn't made ANY money this year
racing on the pace, and put him on the TROT? The result, by
the way, DISTANCED..C'mon Larry, I am pretty sure you can
    read..RETIRE HIM....I'll even supply the carrots.....He has
been a great horse for you an your daughter, so turn him
    out.

Bobby Brower was back in Paducah ,KY for the fairs and to
look at his future stock of Nathan Sea's. From what I hear
from the underpaid grooms ($200 week for 5 horses) of
Harris. Is Scottie is retiring soon? That's what the help
says. And Brower will take over the duties for Sea. We
stood around the track this morning to watch Yoko Hall
train. I'll just say what Bobby said' ewww...From what
Bobby has done with Brush the Sand 57. to 56:4, I would
say there isnt much of an improvement, but its Brower that
we're talking about here, not Pelling.

For another episode of Follow The Money, tune in next
    week.
