"Always Open"
While Senator John McCain was talking to Chelsea
    Clinton, she asked him,
    "What scares you about America?"
He thought a bit and answered with 3 things that
absolutely SCARES THE SH!T OUT OF HIM..

    "1)OSAMA. 2)OBAMA. 3)and YOUR MAMA...."

So starting off this year's 1st Trackside, I must tell
you that 3 things scare me too John!! I spoke to you
guys a lot last year about the current representation
    and YOUR leaders.

I spoke about Bob Stewart saying he would
RETIRE if he dare had to go to Bluegrass Downs and
race a horse. He didn't know WHO Jerry Bradley was,
or even HOW to get to Paducah.

I talked about Mr. Kevin Mack, as a race secretary
at the Ridge getting his dad's horse's in to race and
keeping them in non-winners races where he could
    get them sold.

I also talked about the powers that be and
questioning THEIR "pull" so to speak, about getting
    slots for racing in KY.

I don't have to tell you what transpired with all that
    was written..

But what the HECK, as long as I'm on it, I might as
    well keep going.

Hello and welcome to Bluegrass Downs Bobby.
Its been a VERY long time since Bobby has had a
winner like Andover and Cameron. Training? Barn
Help? Or maybe, it was the fact that Erkki Laakkonen
skipped town after he found out that your horses
were getting the vet work and his kept getting the
charge. A QUOTE FROM A FORMER GROOM of the
STEWART STABLE...Any how, the 3 yr old colt,
Blessing needed just that after a break, and a 3rd
place finish. OUCH!! Maybe next week. Hey Bobby,
might we see you at Mayfield or Lacenter this year?

    As for Mr. Mack of ALL TRADES;
According to reports, Mr. Kevin Mack was back to his
old tricks and letting Ernie Gaskin's horses race
without proper coggins papers on File in IN.

Mr. Mack was relieved of ALL of his duties and sent
home -- to the RED MILE. SO my question is to Mr.
Joe Costa, ARE YOU LETTING A GUY, "THAT HAS
REPEATED WRONG DOINGS AND NOW HAS BEEN
CAUGHT OR IS UNDER INVESTIGATION" back to the
Red Mile with the backing of the KLAN KHHA? Hmmm..
    We'll see

This leads me to my final thought.
Kentucky horsemen got the vote right with Mr.
Beshear but were we right with the KHHA VOTE?
Apparently, we didn't and DON'T have the right pull in
KY. Do these guys KNOW ANYBODY with ANY PULL?
In your defense JOE, the Thoroughbred guys didn't
have much pull either. Maybe we shouldn't focus on
the RED MILE so much and start to spread the word
    EVERYWHERE....

I would like to give a big shout out and happy return
to Ky's winningest driver Chris Laney. It took less
than a few drives for Chrissy to get back into the
winner's circle. Chris had been the regular pilot for
Don Conrad and General Coleman respectfully, but
the General has chosen to ride solo last week to wake
them up...UH...WHAT??? HOLD THE PHONE...I said
Chris was Ky's LEADING Driver in Wins General... Oh
well, Also kudos to BGD's best horse, COUNT
MASONE. Wasn't he claimed for $2000 last spring?
WOW!!!  You've heard it here first again guys...
