Questions were asked and answered by email.
Are you excited about your new horse?
    Yes!  Very Much!

How did you hear about the contest?
I learned about the website from the Hoosier Hitch-
N-Post.  After that, I checked the website daily and
learned about the contest when you posted the
    information about it.

Have you ever owned a horse? Harness Horse?
No.  But my Dad does so that's how I became
    familiar with the sport.

What technique did you use to answer the
questions? Specifically, because you won so many,
how did you do that?
I knew some of the answers. The questions I didn't
know I found by searching on www.google.com,
    www.ustrotting.com, other websites, or calling
places that I thought would know the answer.

Did you have a partner or teammate? If so, who?
    No

Did you have a trainer or horse person helping with
the answers? If so, who?
    No

Did you have your computer set to KyHarnessRacing.
com home page? Why did you do this?
Yes.  I set my home page to KYHarnessRacing.com
the day I learned of the website. I set it because I
want to stay up to date about information
    concerning Kentucky Harness Racing.

Did you have some way of being alerted when the
question popped up, or did you rely on yourself or
teammates watching and refreshing the page?
I set my alarm clock to wake me up throughout the
night and would keep refreshing the page. I also
stayed home all day to refresh the page until the
    question was posted.

Where did you find your answers?
    www..ustrotting.com, www.google.com, and
    www.KYHarnessRacing.com

How did you know to do that?
I thought www.ustrotting.com would have some
answers in their track information and other links. I
used www.KYHarnessRacing.com to find how many
track records were set at The Red Mile in 2006; I
thought it would be under the Red Mile Tab.  And I
use google.com for most searches I do.

Which question was the most difficult to answer?
Question # 4: What harness driver won the very
last race contested at the former Louisville Downs?

Where did you find the answer to question # 4?
I asked somebody from the research department on
    www.ustrotting.com.

What are you plans with your new horse?
To race her and feed her a lot of treats.

Who is going to train the your new filly?
    Russell Newman

Where is she going to be stabled; track and town?
Hoosier Park in Anderson, Indiana until The Red Mile
    starts.

How do you feel about the contest?
I think it was a great idea.  It attracted a lot of
people to the website and I know I learned a lot
from finding the answers to the questions.

What do you think about KyHarnessRacing.com?
The site is a great asset for Kentucky Harness
Racing. It will attract more people to Kentucky racing
because it provides valuable information such as
condition sheets, race dates, track information,
eligibility rules for county fairs and sire stakes, etc...

Did you learn anything from the contest?
Yes.  I actually learned a lot.  There was quiet a few
questions I had to look up.

What would you change about the contest?
I wouldn't change anything about it.  It was a great
learning experience and it took hard work to win.

Contest winner excited about her new horse
4/4/07 KyHarnessRacing.com

The March 07' Horse Giveaway Contest came to an
end this past Saturday. With almost 5000 answers
sent in, it was apparent early in the contest that
there were a few contestants that were dedicated to
the contest and extremely serious about winning. In
the end, there was one winner, Amanda Webb of
    Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Amanda Webb is a 22 year old student
    at Eastern Kentucky University. Majoring
in Criminal Justice, she isn't sure of her
plans after college, but hopes they
include being involved with race horses.
One thing that she can be sure of right
now is, she will definitely be involved with
a filly named All American Libra.

    Recently, KyHarnessRacing.com asked Amanda
Webb some questions about the contest. We asked
questions about how she played the contest, that
resulted in her winning. If you have a question for
Amanda, go to the Comment Post and post your
    question to Amanda Webb.
