We recently ran across these business quotes that apply
to everyday living. We found them to be very interesting
and thought we would share them with our readers. Enjoy.

    Decisions
The first step towards getting somewhere is to
decide that you are not going to stay where you are.
    John Pierpont Morgan

    Action
Inaction creates doubt and fear. Action creates
confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear,
don't sit at home and think about it. Go out and get
    busy.  - Dale Carnegie

    Sight
The most pathetic person in the world is someone
who has sight, but has no vision. - Helen Keller

    Fear

    Ambition
Is a lust that is never quenched, but grows more

    Perseverance
This is no time for ease and comfort. It is the time to
dare and endure. - Winston Churchhill
A Wildcat Day at Bluegrass Downs
5/22/07 KyHarnessRacing.com

On Saturday afternoon at Bluegrass Downs, the
finals of the Wildcat Series for three year olds were
off and running. The eventful day seemed to attract
a bigger crowd than the normal Saturday.

Without a doubt, the most impressive victory of the
day, came in a Wildcat race. The Nick Gilberson
trained three year old colt, Coastal Highway, coasted
home by 7 lengths to a 1:55:2 time. Driver Brandon
Simpson got the call this week. Brandon secured the
pocket trip behind his stablemate Quick Settlement
and driver Nick Giberson. Just past the half way
marker, Simpson put his colt into race gear to
grabbed the lead and never look back. Simpson
didn't have time to hang around to celebrate the
victory, as he had other drives in Chicago later in the
    evening.

In the three year old trotting divisions of the Wildcat
Series, it was local favorite Randy Jerrell who pick up
the wins in both the filly and colt Wildcat races.
Jerrell also trains the winners. Jon's Girl and Super
Sims are both owned by local, Marion T. Bowles, of
Kevil, Ky. This team is well known for producing top
trotters on the county fair circuit in Kentucky.

In the three year old filly pace division, it was Pat
Curtin, that guided Real Model to a two length
victory over stablemate Go Ginny Go. Owned by
Nathan Sea and Allen Harris, both of Kentucky, it
was the filly's second victory for the season. The win
also gave driver, Pat Curtin his fifth win of the day.

A special thanks is in order for the ones that got
the ball rolling, about this same time last year, for
raising awareness about the money that was out
there. Without these people, and we all know
who they are, the Wildcat Series would not
    have been thought about. KyHarnessRacing.com
would like to thank everyone involved for coming
together and their help getting the funds for this
    event.
