Loose without a bit

Wednesday afternoon in a qualifier, the horse
Montgomery Boy, had a malfunction with his bridle.
His bit, a jaw breaker, became unattached to the
bridle. With the bit around the chest area, driver Jack
Keininger had no control of his horse.

After dumping his driver, Montgomery Boy ran
around the racetrack, with the bike dragging behind.
While horsemen managed to keep him on the track,
he wouldn't slow down enough to be caught.

Lawrence Cooper walked up to the gait. And the next
time the loose horse came by, Cooper ran and leap
onto the horse's neck. With his right arm around the
neck of the horse, and both feet off the ground,
Cooper took his left hand and grabbed the horse's
nose and brought it to his chest. The horse stopped
    very quickly.

What kind of move do you call that? Lawrence
Cooper was asked, "That's called bulldogging. That's
the only way you were going to stop him." He made it
look easy, but before anyone attempts to bulldog a
horse, please give Lawrence Cooper a call, he can give
you a few tips. He's had experience.
