either...I have said it before and I will say it again...I did not care if I was elected to the board, but I DO CARE about the state of racing in KY, the horsemen and women, and what WE are going to do to change things for the better! You can belittle me, my views, and how I feel but if you do then you are simply belittling yourself too if you are a horseman because you should want things to get better and not stay status quo. You say the KHHA can only do so much...what have they done exactly for our sport? Do they stand up for the standardbred owners rights when it comes time to in Frankfort? No! Do they represent all of us the way they should or are some of them too busy worrying about what's in it for them? Hmmm...perhaps. Things can always improve and there should be no limit on how hard an organization or an individual tries but there is a limit imposed on oneself if they stop trying and frankly, the KHHA has not been as active as they should have been in the fight for expanded gaming. Perhaps if they did fight for it harder then a few more representatives in Frankfort would have supported it and it would have passed, but we will not ever know this time around. What I am saying is now we have 2 years for the KHHA and all of us including you HENRY to step up and make your voice heard to those that will listen. As I have told others on here that question my motives, Focus your energy on making things better for our sport instead of bashing my comments which have NO productive gain whatsoever for the problems at hand. Where are we going next in Kentucky??? What are you going to do about it Henry??? What is the KHHA going to do next????? These are questions you should be asking! If harness racing doesn't get support from the USTA, the KHHA and the Commonwealth of Kentucky then it will be bye bye to all of this. Perhaps in the long run it is what you want. I do not know. I ! just know I am getting tired of defending myself to you and others like you. Can you not see what I am doing is trying to help ALL OF US???? When have I ever said I was in it for me???? NEVER!!!!!!!!! Now get over yourself. And next election please do not vote for me...put yourself on the ballot and see how many votes you get with your closemindedness!!!! |
