RECALL RECALL
---- Ladies and Gentlemen ----
we--have--a
RECALL

Recently there was a recall at The Red Mile. As some
of you may have already known, in the eyes of "The
Three Blind Mice", the recall was "NOBODY'S" fault.

However, we have accurate details of exactly what
and how and the reason for the recall.

Remember: It's NOT my fault this happen.
So who should be held accountable?

Edgar the Weatherman
Charge: FAILURE to read the program

The Three Blind Mice
Charge: FAILURE to COMMUNICATE

EDITOR'S NOTE: In defense of  Edgar the Weatherman.
While the Three Blind Mice were busy looking for chatters
on the track, one of them should've reminded him of the
10 horse trailing. But then again, that would've made to
much sense and been way to easy.
THE CHIWAWA's
at the track

Chiwawa's have always been well known for their
annoying "big" bad bark. Running back-n-forth barking
at people for no real reason, other than the hopes of
being noticed by someone, besides the one they are
barking at.

Recently, Dan Munson had his own encounter with a
CHIWAWA. Although he wasn't able to completely
silence the little one, Mr. Munson did somehow
manage, without the use of a muzzle, to quieten the
loud bark of the little dog substantially.

In essence, the
"DAN MUNSON AWARD"
has been created. If a person is able to quieten
any CHIWAWA, without the use of a muzzle, they
will be eligible to receive the honorable award.
ATTENTION!!
Lamar "Moose" Moody

BEWARE, Inspector Klipso is back in town. He was
recently spotted in the grandstand at The Red Mile.
He was dressed as a civilian. However, he was
holding a program with two eye holes cut out.

He appeared to be refreshed, rested, and ready to
throw the book at anyone.

A Suggestion
Moose the next time your at the supermarket pick
up a bag of PORK RINDS for the Inspector. They
help last year during a drug raid at the track. When
the Inspector found those pork rinds,
the raid ended quickly.
The Secret Night At The Red Mile

After two consecutive years of the Kentucky Sire Stake Finals "Night of Champions" being
held at The Red Mile, the track has managed to make this night one of the biggest secrets
in all of Lexington. What little promotion and marketing the event had in the two previous
years, came mostly from the efforts of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission.

But hey, since we like to give credit where credit is due, and in the defense of the track, we
can't go without mentioning their top ten reasons they're keeping the night a secret.

Top 10 Reasons to Keep "Night of Champions" a Secret
    10. Even though the event has been on the calender for almost a year,The Red Mile just plain forgot about their responsibility,

    9. If they promoted and more people showed up, it's possible it could hurt the chances of VLT's.

    8. They've had their hands full with keeping the post parades in line.

    7. The owners said, look ... we have 2 billboards out there. One on the left corner and one on the right corner of Red Mile Rd.

    6. It's only one night, what's the big deal.

    5. Everybody knows where The Red Mile is located, the track has been in the same place since 1875. People know about it.

    4. If they have more people show up, then the track would have to spend more money on programs and staff. Last year they lost
$70,000 on program sales alone. Understandably they're a little gun-shy, they don't want to take the chance of that
         happening again.

    3. The track has to concentrate on the other upcoming events - like concerts.

    2. By phone George wants to know .... who dropped the ball again? The answer he got ... Sir, I didn't know we were playing ball.
