Good Customer Service Is Still Needed

    It amazes me that in this day and age how some
    companies, including racetracks, still do not understand the
    importance of good customer service. It seems many are
    focused more on saving money and less on keeping
    customers happy. Customer satisfaction leads to continued
    business, referrals, and customer loyalty.

    Inadequate customer service does the exact opposite and
    ends up being an enormous burden on a company, which in
    the end will cost more in future sales and lost customers
    than what would have been saved in reducing support
    costs.

    Good customer service is all about bringing customers
    back. And about sending them away happy - happy enough
    to pass positive feedback about your business along to
    others, who may then try the product or service you offer
    for themselves and in their turn become repeat customers.

    The customers are the most important people to any
    business. Word of mouth can make or break any business.
    It can also be the greatest form of advertising. Treat
    customers with the utmost respect and concern along with
    keeping your customers happy and they may bring
    someone with them the next time they come. Forget about
    your customer, and they will find another place to spend
    their money.  

    How do you go about forming such a relationship? By
    remembering the one true secret of good customer service
    and acting accordingly; “You will be judged by what you do,
    not what you say.”
