Is it a Mariana Trench time for Bob Stewart

From the Hambletonian to Bluegrass Downs could
only mean one thing - it must be hard times for
KHHA President Bob Stewart. Or, could it mean
something else like - Stewart is personally
supporting racing in Paducah, Kentucky.
Either way, he made the trip to Western Kentucky
this past weekend to race, for his first time, at
Bluegrass Downs.
As Stewart was traveling downtheroad, was he
thinking about the race or was he thinking about
what he might say to his fellow horsemen and
Bluegrass Downs General Manager Jerry Bradley.
According to Stewart two years ago, he never
envisioned racing one of his horses at Bluegrass
Downs, as he made his statement by saying that he
would get out of the business and resign as
President of the KHHA if he had to race at Bluegrass
Downs.
We're not predicting that he is going to get out of
the business or resign as President anytime soon.
But we will commend President Bob Stewart for
finding within himself, the courage to go racing at
Bluegrass Downs.
Stewart's three old trotting colt, Blessing, finished
third after making a break.
