SSSHHH!!!!
Be VERR--WEE  VERR--WEE  QUI--IT

Pssst! Hey. Can you keep a secret. I want to tell you
something............ but you have to promise not to
tell anyone.....not even you're closest friends.

SSSSHHH!!!! I said NO ONE!! Not even YOUR PILLOW.

Sunday evening, The Red Mile had a dinner "Unbridled
Evening of Champions". The total purses on the card
were over $1.75 million. A total of 14 races with 11 of
them stakes races. It was a night to remember.

Don't tell anyone about how good it was. They may
want to attend next year.

Don't tell anyone the Red Mile had North America's
leading driver, Tim Tetrick, who is breaking records,
and is enroute to break the all-time win record. Let's
not forget that he is only 26 years old. Just don't tell
anyone. We wouldn't want the public to know about
this. They may want to come out and see for
    themselves.

Shhhh!!!! Don't tell anyone. Remember you promised
not to tell. No one is supposed to know.

Don't tell anyone that the Kentucky Sire Stakes
program attracted the best drivers and horses in
North America. The horses on the evening card, had
earnings that amounted to over $20 million.

Don't tell Sen. Joey Pendleton or anyone else that
The Red Mile forgot to promote the event.

Please!!!! Please!!!! whatever you do, don't anyone
call the TV stations and Newspaper. Or build some
relationship with them. Heck, they may want to give
    some FREE coverage.

OOOPPS!!!. I may need to make a correction. Maybe
the Red Mile didn't forget to promote. Maybe they
just choose not to. Or maybe they didn't have the
money or the time.

Hey better yet....Maybe the KHHA, the Cornbread
Mafia and The Red Mile all have connections. One
thing for sure they all like to keep secrets.

ALL must agree to keep it ALL a secret. So ALL can
look at the empty grandstand.........SCRATCH YOUR
HEADS AND SAY........"WHY DON'T PEOPLE COME TO
THE RACES?"

Some of our leaders had the ANSWER to that
Question. Here is what they had to say:

UNCLE BOBBY:
"I knew about it...I knew about it....why
don't they just call me. My number is in
the phone book. Just call me. I WILL DO
ALL THE TALKIN. Oh yeah. I won't listen
    to a word you say."

"DO IT ALL" MACK:
"IIIII didn't want to promote it. Well, really
I forgot that I was the GM. And I was
worried that someone might try to take
one of my 18 positions that I hold. Or one
of the jobs that I am trying to get. Like I
really want to sit in the judges stand,
would love to drive the ambulance and I
am looking into doing the Spit Box. I do it
all. Joe says I'm really good a what I do."

EDGAR the WEATHERMAN:
"I don't know why people don't come out
more. Hey but I don't know much of
anything. I do know that I can give a
really long winded answer and at the same
time say nothing. I really don't think
people coming out has ANYTHING to do
with marketing. The party was good. DID
    ANYONE NOTICE ME? Let's get
something straight right now. If anyone
says that this party was great..I WILL
TAKE CREDIT FOR IT. Oh yeah. I took
home the leftovers in to go boxes from
    the party.

"I GOTTA WEAR SHADES" JOE:
"All I know is that I was
dressed to the 9's. I even had a tie on.
Did anyone see my new shoes?"

Here is what I have to say to these LEADERS.
"We are NOT hunting wabbits here"
Democratic Sen.
Joey Pendleton,
was on hand at
The Red Mile
Sunday.

“I think it’s pretty
obvious with the
purses and horses
we’re seeing here
tonight that the
program is working,”
Pendleton said.
“However, I’m a little
disappointed with
the number of
people that came
out to witness it and
see what we’re
doing to help the
industry.”
"If you're gonna sell Betty, what Betty buys, then you have to see it through Betty's eyes"
